The Author
Marina Stefanova has a PhD on Social governance – specialty “Corporate social responsibility”. She has MA in Law from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski " and additional qualifications in "Company Management" and "Administrative Governance" from Department of Economics at the same university. She has also graduated the postgraduate program "Introduction to British and European law" at Cambridge university (UK). Marina specialised in CSR and social entrepreneurship in Austria, Great Britain and Switzerland.
Since 2007, Ms. Stefanova is a certified consultant in corporate social responsibility of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Since 2008 she is a member of the Mirroring Committee for the draft of the international standard on social responsibility ISO 26000 representing the Bulgarian Standardization Institute. Since 2009 she is a member of the Working Group 13 in the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, which is responsible for developing and implementing the "National Strategy for CSR in Bulgaria."
Marina actively participates in international projects such as author, expert, speaker and auditor in the area of corporate social responsibility.
She has published 1 textbook, 1 book, 1 chapter of book and has written over 50 publications in the areas of CSR, entrepreneurship, project management and mediation.
